Recently, ASSA has received requests to have the existing recreational team formation rules modified or changed. Current rules have been in place approximately 5 years. As times change, the ASSA must continually re-evaluate our rules, by-laws and guidelines to further enhance the growth of soccer in the state.

It is also important to keep in mind the wide diversity in sizes, abilities, locations and goals of the associations within the state. What may work for a large, 1,500-player association may be completely inappropriate for a 50-member association, and vice-versa. The ASSA must strike a balance with its rules in order to help all member associations play on an equal footing.

This is where we need your help. This is a critically important issue and the board wants to make sure that the opinions of our membership throughout the state are heard. Please make your feelings known with your participation in this survey. We are looking to gather information from as many people as possible.
